Blue Monday is a name given to a date calculated to be the most depressing day of the year. Yesterday was the Blue Monday fo 2008.
The data was calculated by Dr Cliff Arnall at the University of Cardiff. The date was calculated by using many factors, plugged into a formula. The factors include: weather conditions, debt level (the difference between debt accumulated and our ability to pay), time since Christmas, time since failing our new year’s resolutions, low motivational levels and feeling of a need to take action.
It is up to you to believe or not.

Being constituted by and with the Lord as the life-giving and transforming Spirit
2Cor 3:17 And the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
2Cor 3:18 But we all with unveiled face, beholding and reflecting like a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord Spirit.

January @ Bristol
January is miserable at Bristol. Why? Because of rain, it is so wet. BTW, rain has already caused lots of flooding in this area.
It was bit of sunny yesterday afternoon. So I seized the opportunity to take a walk. But the weather changed so quickly . Unfortunately I was caught by rain and ended up with sitting in my office with damp clothes.

Invigilating
Happy New Year!
On the first day back to school, the first year undergraduates have to take their mid-sessional examinations. I was scheduled to invigilate for an extra-time exam at 9am this morning. According to the instruction, I arrived the class room at 8:30am and got everything ready. It was 9 o'clock, but nobody else was there except me. Strange. What's going on? I kept waiting for the students in the room and thought I would wait until 9:30, if there were no one then I'd leave. ( It's based on the instruction too.)
Rebecca then informed me that students went to the wrong location and they were coming. What an incident! Ten minutes later six students showed up. Exam started at 9:30am.
